They work across diverse industries including manufacturing, industrial, consumer goods, and business services. Their consultants focus on driving measurable improvements through strategic initiatives in operational optimization, strategic sourcing, organizational transformation, and financial performance enhancement. They also offer talent acquisition and leadership consulting services to support organizational growth.
VP of Value Creation
Our client is seeking a VP of Value Creation to serve as a key member of their leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will drive execution of the Value Creation Plan, establish structured operating rhythms, and provide strategic leverage across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with exceptional execution discipline, possessing strong business acumen and the ability to influence senior leaders and board members.
This is a full-time, fully remote, exempt position in a fast-paced, PE-backed consulting environment.
Responsibilities
Value Creation Plan & Strategic Operations:
- Own the definition and delivery of client's Value Creation Plan, working closely with CEO, board, and leadership team to ensure strategic initiatives are executed effectively
- Implement and maintain structured meeting cadences, communications frameworks, and accountability systems across the organization
- Drive board meeting preparation, create executive presentations, and manage follow-up on strategic initiatives
- Develop and monitor key business metrics, synthesize reporting across functions, and identify areas requiring leadership attention (utilizing PowerBI dashboards)
- Act as force multiplier for CEO, enabling increased focus on business development and client relationships
- Support sales and revenue operations initiatives, including identifying target accounts, developing account planning templates, and establishing supporting processes to drive growth and alignment with business development efforts
- Manage and facilitate external vendor partnerships, including budget ownership, performance tracking, and ensuring vendor alignment with the Value Creation Plan
- Partner with HR team on special talent related initiatives such as roundtables, workshops, and cohort calls to develop and retain talent\
- Drive the consolidation of service offerings from a broad portfolio to three core focus areas, ensuring clear market positioning and alignment with marketing and business development strategies.
- Drive internal AI improvement projects and coordinate technology implementation including new CRM systems (i.e. Hubspot, Salesforce or equivalent)
Change Management & Communications:
- Lead organizational communications, facilitate town halls, and manage change initiatives across the organization
- Identify and implement operational improvements to drive business efficiency and growth
- Coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives and ensure accountability across teams
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years overall work experience with 5+ years in consulting or professional services environment
- Experience in PE-backed or high-growth scaling companies strongly preferred
- Experience at organizations with 100+ employees
- Track record of driving operational change and process improvements
- Prior experience in transformation, operations, or chief of staff roles preferred

Technical Skills & Requirements:
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- PowerBI and data visualization capabilities required
- Strong project management and process design abilities
- Experience managing multiple time-sensitive workstreams simultaneously
- Proven ability to work effectively in fully remote environment
Additional Requirements:
- Travel: ~20% (quarterly regionals, annual sessions, client meetings as needed)
- Location: Fully remote, US-based (no PST preferred due to scheduling considerations)
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $185-200K/yr
- Bonus: 20-25% (non-discretionary)
